Mama Makes: Chocolate Rice Treats

I whipped these Chocolate Rice Treats up this afternoon, and knew I needed to share them with you! After a busy morning these little treats are so easy and simple, literally take zero brain power and very minimal clean up. Not to mention they're chocolate so.......that's an easy Monday pick me up in my book.

I've just reheated my coffe for the 8th time, and maybe I'll get to it with a couple of these on the side before dinner time. Fingers crossed! Keep reading to find the ingredients and directions below.

3T butter

10oz mini marshmallows

1 cup milk chocolate chips

6 cups rice cereal

in a large pot (I use my biggest soup pot) melt the butter on medium heat. Stir in mini marshmallows and stir until half melted. Add chocolate chips and stir continuously until melted completely.

Remove pot from heat and add the rice cereal. Mix quickly until well combined, and pour into a greased cookie sheet. (You can skip the spray oil by placing a piece of wax paper over the pan instead.) Spread the mixture with the palm of your hands until spread evenly edge to edge.

Allow to cool completely (usually about 15-20 minutes) before you use a cookie cutter to cut out the treats.
